Regina has established an unconditional bond with Hakuna, a mestizo puppy that has been with her for many years, but unfortunately he is no longer by her side.
The furry passed away last year after the frail old man left him unable to continue breathing. Those last days of agony were really heavy for both the pet and its owner.
Regina knew that Hakuna had left for a better life, but sadness could not be avoided. In memory of her furry deceased, this woman decided to do a funeral for the most beautiful dog we’ve ever seen in history.
Lying in a padded tub, warm and surrounded by flowers, Hakuna’s apparently sleeping body can be seen. Next to him is also accompanied by an image of San Roque, patron saint of dogs, and the pious eyes of a Christ hanging on the wall.
It seems that the devoted Regina wanted to make sure that her furry had eternal rest and a direct pass to heaven, it was just a little of the love that he himself gave to everyone in life.
“Have a peaceful sleep my love! It will be a while before we meet again. I’m sure you’re so happy up there with all the good dogs like you, HAKUNA! I cried when they warned me. I told you that I would give you a nice bed and I know that you will always be by my side […] God will hug you, you will not feel pain but happiness, ”Regina wrote on Facebook.
In life, this dog accompanied Regina during very difficult moments such as the death of her brother. According to herself, she wrote in a publication: « Hakuna was not just a dog , he was my savior. He was the one who understood me when I felt defeated. You never left me, you always wanted to be with me.
