Limping with a swollen paw near an embankment, she staunchly rejects any aid, demonstrating her strong-willed and independent nature.

A concerned individual reached out to Hope For Paws regarding Tinkerbell, a 10-year-old Mastiff who had been found three weeks prior in an embankment 25 miles outside of Los Angeles. Seeing the dog malnourished and in pain due to her injured paw, the Good Samaritan wanted to ensure she received help.

As the rescuers made their way down the hillside, they could tell Tinkerbell was not happy with their presence. After following the growling dog for some time, they eventually managed to capture her with a snare. However, Tinkerbell was too heavy to be lifted without assistance.

Onlookers who witnessed the rescue operation immediately contacted the fire department for help. Upon their arrival, the firefighters quickly hoisted Tinkerbell up to the rescuers. The rescuers expressed their gratitude and took the anxious dog to the veterinarian’s office.

A microchip scan revealed that Tinkerbell was originally from Arizona and had gone missing! The rescuers reached out to her owners and discovered that the dog had become frightened by 4th of July fireworks while the family was on vacation in Los Angeles!

The heartwarming moment of Tinkerbell’s family reunion after weeks apart is captured in the conclusion of the video! You can see her excitement as she is reunited with her loved ones.
